First Lady Pamela Harper, a native of Detroit, MI is an anointed and powerful woman of God. She was saved at a young age at Bethlehem Temple on Clinton Street in Detroit. Her career started at Detroit Edison (DTE) in the Accounting Department. She attended Dorsey Business School and graduated from their computerized accounting program. She also attended Wayne County Community College.

A loving and devoted wife to her husband, Bishop Gary Harper, her calm and quiet demeanor is a perfect compliment to his more outgoing personality. As her family grew, she resigned from her position at DTE after eight years to become a full time homemaker. When the children got older Lady Harper took on the responsibility as the financial administrator for Greater Grace Temple O.G. Hayes Memorial.

Lady Harper operates in several capacities at the church showing forth-exemplary leadership and being an example of a virtuous woman. As President of the Women’s Ministry, she orchestrates the planning of activities for women, such as social trips, Bible discussions, revivals, retreats, and the annual women’s day service. Her passion to see women grow to their fullest God-given potential has brought about fellowships, which teach, empower, and promote strength and unity among the sisters at GGTT. The theme she selected for the Women’s Ministry serves as a daily reminder to the women of God; we are “Holy Women United as One.”

External to her work at the church, Lady Harper served several years as Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer in the Northern District Council’s Ministers Wives and Ministers Widows Auxiliary. Her gift of hospitality, which has proven providential in her calling as first lady, is expressed also in the International Ministers Wives and Ministers Widows Auxiliary, where she has served as a greeter at countless receptions, luncheons and banquets setting the tone for an inviting and welcoming event. Currently she holds the title as Treasurer of the Ghana Council Fellowship-USA under the administration of her husband who is the Diocesan.

Lady Harper has a caring heart and is concerned about others both domestically and in foreign countries that live in adverse conditions. She has participated in missions work in South Africa and has accompanied her husband to Ghana for the ministry there in serving the people of God.

Lady Harper is a loving and nurturing mother to their four children Alisha, Dayna, Isaiah, and Jennifer, and one grandson, Bryson. She is very active and supportive in both her husband and children’s lives. A woman of grace, a firm believer of God, and His Word, Lady Harper’s journey is surrounded by this praise, “Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is good!”
